Stop Complaining And Start Building

It is in our nature as humans to notice incongruences in some events or flow of things. If the educational system is faulty, we blame the government.

I have been working in Web3 for some years now, and I’ve seen a lot of irregularities in the space. Let me share a couple of them with you.

First, let’s talk about NFTs. There was a time some were grinding and spending hours to qualify for a whitelist and all. Everyone hype the projects within their Discord servers, but we all know that they are worthless.

These NFTs often have no utility, yet people spend fortunes on them.

Hold that in your right hand.

Secondly, there was a question of educational bias. People who are not in Web3 often find it very difficult to contribute to Web3-related discussions and opinions. Some of the “educational” stuff online will leave you dumber than you were because they will complicating the topic you are trying to understand.

Thirdly, dApps can be very unfriendly to use. Imagine you using a dApp and forcing you to connect some wallets and all.

Clearly, Web3 is just kicking off compared to other technological ecosystems.

Now, You Are Here Anon

Web3 has more than the problem I highlighted. But I made a decision as a personal: I’m not gonna complain. Instead I’ll give feedback, contribute, or build.

If you notice that Web3 has no strong data platform, launch yours.

Perhaps you feel there is no startup that caters for the deit of busy developers, build sometimes around it.

Stop complaining that hacks are getting too much in Web3, rather go learn advanced smart contract auditing.

Some weeks ago, I came across a GitHub repo with resources for upcoming Solidity developers. I noticed some friendly resources were not there.

Instead of complaining, I forked the repo, added friendlier resources, and made a PR.

I hope you get the idea behind this post. Adopt it from today and make the world a better place.
